What I saw at the mortuary is not on your site. Can you still get it?

With over 500 different caskets available, we are unable to show them all. However, if you provide us a name and manufacturer, we would be happy to provide you with a quote.

Are these the same as funeral homes sell?

Can I be sure that what I see online is what I will receive?

Will I encounter any difficulties at the funeral home regarding my purchase?

All funeral homes are required by the Federal Trade Commission's Funeral Rule (16CFR453) to accept any funeral merchandise purchased from a "third party vendor." Most reputable and professional funeral homes recognize this and honor their families with the same level of professionalism. A few uninformed or uncooperative individuals may try to add to your grief. If this occurs, please contact us immediately. If we are not able to resolve these problems to your satisfaction, you may be well advised to seek another funeral home that will serve your family with the respect they deserve.

What are my legal rights?

California funeral homes are regulated by the Cemetery and Funeral Board of the California Department of Consumer Affairs and also by the Federal Trade Commission's Funeral Rule that protects the consumer by making it law that a consumer can purchase a casket from a source other than their local funeral home. The funeral home must accept funeral products purchased through an outside source and cannot charge a handling fee or any additional charges relative to your outside purchase. The funeral director by law is required to provide you with a copy of their Price Lists which enables you to compare their prices relative to other providers of services and merchandise.
